some pictures to get started

here is the beginning of my blog. i'm just figuring all this out, but i think it's going to be a good way to keep in touch with people i love. and since i got a new digital camera for graduation, i want to be able to post the pictures somewhere!
and since i know my favorite part of other people's blogs are the pictures, i thought i would put some up right away....
