last weekend at the farm

i went home last weekend for the first time since january. it was such a nice visit!! kind of made me wonder why i won't be spending more time at home this summer (but then again, i know why not-- i've got to get to new york, el salvador and holden!!!). my little cousins are down from alaska for a month or so and it was fun to see them, plus-- it was great to just enjoy our house. it seems like it's nicer and nicer every time i go back. mom and dad are always making improvements and the place was just gorgeous. annie and i went horseback riding one afternoon, i sat around while mom weeded her immence garden, and we spent sunday at otter lake. so now, as much as i am looking forward to all my upcoming travels, i am also looking forward to the couple weeks that i'll be home right before i move to el paso in august.
